The Latest and Most Relevant Fishing Updates You Should Know

Big blues hit the surf in IBSP yesterday! Fish up to 11.65 lbs. made there way to our scale. Cut bunker was the way to go on these large blues. Clams are still accounting for small to keeper size bass being caught in the surf. The bay in our area has slowed down quite a bit with the occasional small blue being taken on cut bait from our dock. Crabbing should start any day but nothing as yet. We will have a few boats in the water available to rent this weekend... John Yac

Blues, Blues and more Blues!! If there is water in front of you more than likely you'll find blue fish in mixed sizes. As what to use, poppers, swimmers and metals are all working for the plug guys. The bait fisherman are using cut bunker and clams to score. Mixed in all this madness are small bass, not many keepers thou, but they will be here soon as water temps and available baits are both on the rise... A nice mixed bag of blue fish and striped bass are being taken along our beaches and back bays. Just about any cut bait seems to be working along with poppers swimmers and metals on these hungry fish.
