Just can't believe only two days till Christmas! This was one of the fastest seasons, at least for me, with the fall surf fishing being such a disappointment we turn our attention to the holiday season now and family get-togethers, a great time of the year in this crazy world in which we live. Small bass around the 37 bridge areas on small swimmers is the word right now. Not much doing in the surf, but the relatively mild forecast for the next few days may bring some anglers out for their final try of the season. The 2014 surf fishing season in our area is coming to a close. We had a report of a few small bass being caught yesterday on vision eels. With the milder weekend forecast and Monday temps approaching the mid 50's we may have one last chance at these small bass... John Yac
