Sharpen your hooks, things could be about to pop! There were a couple of nice bass taken in IBSP yesterday on clams and one topped the scales at 27 plus pounds, now that's what I'm talking about. Clams are not the only way to temp these bass to take the hook. Swimming plugs and metal will also work if presented correctly in the right locations and at the right times. So don't just sit there and read the reports, get out there and catch some fish of your own... Fishing Report

Rain is one thing but lightning is a No No! Rain gear will keep you dry for the most part but nothing protects you from mother nature but common sense. Keep your rods in the buggy and stay off the beaches till all sigs of lightning is gone. There has been cases where anglers sitting in their buggy's waiting for the storm to pass have been struck by lightning, so why take the chance? No fish no matter how big is worth your life or the life of a loved one or friend! Strong NE winds turning NW tomorrow will have the surf churned up so big sticks, heavy sinkers and clams will be your best bet. Heavy metals and bottle plugs are a great alternative if you don't want to bait fish.... John Yac

Fishing Report

Not much new on the fishing front to report. Still some small blues here and there but no run of bass to speak of, but that could change any day. It's a matter of staying vigilant so you will be there when the run starts. The few short to keeper size bass that are being taken are at first light and at dusk. Clams seem to be the number producer but a few have been taken on small swimmers. We have Penn Spinfisher V Live Liners back in stock. Remember we have live eels and sand worms for a change of pace!... John Yac
