There were a lot of short bass caught yesterday on metal and teaser. Ava's, T-Hex and deadly dicks all worked well. We have fresh clams and live eels as well as an assortment of frozen baits for your fishing needs. We also have our blowout sale going on so stop in the shop and check it out.

No fish weighed in at our shop yesterday. Our area was slow, just a couple of shorts in the Ortley Beach area caught by Phil "Dirt" is all I have to report. Still plenty of sand eels around and a keeper or two were taken just to the north of us is enough reason to keep fishing before our long winter rest. I feel there will be one more shot of some quality fish before the run is over. John Yac

No better way to work off that big Thanksgiving day meal than to hit the beach and make a few casts. Fishing has been slow the last few days and the bad weather conditions didn't help much, but a better forcast for today and still plenty of bait in the water may yield better results. Avas, and Sp minnows fished with teasers or any thin metal and small swimmer presented in the same way will also do. Bait fishing always remains a option with clams and cut bunker being two of the baits of choice. We also have live green crabs and live eels. Remember our Black Friday sale on some great items is now underway and will last till year's end. John Yac

I expect only the hardy souls will be out today fishing. There were a few keeper bass in the 30" range taken in IBSP yesterday on, yes you guessed it, Avas and SP minnows. We're hoping after this mess moves out tonight that we will get another shot of fish before it ends. Still pleanty of sand eels in close so why not? Our shop will be open tomorrow at 5 AM. Come on in and check out our Black Friday Sale now in progress! Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. John Yac
