Fishing Report

We seem to stuck in a summer time holding pattern. The usual catches of fluke and small blues are available to those willing to put in the time by day. Nights are still producing a pick of sharks and rays and once in a while a short to keeper size bass will apear. Crabbing seems to be picking up in the bay while snapper and spots seem to be all over. Blow fishing at the BB, BI buoys has slowed down. Reports of a few keeper size fluke along with small blue fish just south of the buoys are coming in.  John Yac

Fishing Report

Small blues and keeper fluke in the surf is the word for today. Some 1 to 2 lb blues are showing up in the surf along with a few keeper fluke. The king fish and croaker bite has slowed a bit. Still pleanty of those  pesky rays out there though. Nothing fancy on the blue fish methord, cut bait or metal will work nicely and for the fluke buck tail jigs tipped with gulp or squid are accounting for most of the catches. Nice size snapper blues are starting to show now in the bay while crabbing has slowed a bit. John Yac
