The Latest and Most Relevant Fishing Updates You Should Know

Again yesterday there was a good catch of kingfish from the surf using a kingfish rig with clam, fishbites and bloodworms. Bucktails tipped with gulp and a teaser will get fluke if you work for them. We have live killies, fresh clams and bunker with an assortment of frozen baits for your fishing needs. Crabbing in the back remains consistent with nice catches coming from the dock as well as our rental boats. Mario

Kingfish seem to be the way to go in the surf with some keeper fluke mixed in if you work for them. We have fresh bunker, clams and live killies as well as an assortment of frozen baits for your fishing needs. Crabbing on the dock has been good with customers leaving with 2-3 dozen. Our rental boats have been coming in with 3-4 dozen or more. Mario

Fishing Report

Most of all our activity yesterday was on the crabbing front, we had only a hand full of fisherman hit the beach. So as far as beach fishing goes we don't have much to report. The king fish and fluke with the occasional bass and blue fish are still present. The bay crabbing stepped it up a notch yesterday with both shore bound and boat crabbers doing a nice job. Our top boat yesterday did 3/4 of a bushel in 4 hours with 18 to 24 keepers coming from the dock on average. We have LIVE KILLIES and some beautiful nice size sand worms along with fresh clams to round off our live bait selections. As always our frozen baits include sand eels, large squid tubes and clam chum logs. John Yac.

Fishing Report

A change in wind direction may bring bait in close these next few days. If the bait is in casting distance we may have a few more bass and blue fish within our reach. The forecast today may bring a little rain but nothing that rain gear can't handle. Fluke and king fish are still providing the most action right now in the surf. Crabbing is holding it's own in the bay and more snappers are showing up daily. Remember we have LIVE KILLIES! John Yac

Fishing Report

Fluke and king fish still are the main attraction in the surf right now. There has been a few keeper bass taken on clams and a few nice blue fish taken on cut bunker and metal in the past couple of days. Fluke are falling to the buck tail gulp combo while the king fish are on fishbites and worms on a small hi-lo rig. Crabbing seems to be increasing daily in the bay with small snapper blues showing up now and again. If your looking for nice sized blow fish for the table the BB buoy is still the hot spot. We are now carrying LIVE KILLIES for those anglers who like a more traditional fluke bait...John Yac
