KILLIES are finely IN!! It was a long wait but just in time for the increasing fluke bite on our ocean beaches. King fish are also making their presents known. One of our customers stopped in to use our cleaning table yesterday and cleaned 27 good size kings caught in IBS surf on Fish Bites and live worms. Bass and blues are becoming harder to find by the day. Crabbing in the bay remains steady. Blow fish and king fish are also increasing while snappers are hard to find. We have fresh bunker, clams, and LIVE killies along with our large selection of frozen baits...John Yac

Not much to report on Bass and blues yesterday but there are kingfish and blowfish out there. Fishbites and small pieces of clam on a blowfish or kingfish rig is the way to go. Fluke are also being caught on bucktails tipped with gulp and a teaser. We have fresh clams and bunker.
The crabbing in the back remains steady.

Bass and blues seem to be a little scarce right now in the surf but there are some fluke, blow fish and king fish to be taken. Bucktail and gulp with a teaser has been working well for the fluke while king fish and blow fish rigs will do the trick for them. We have fresh clams and bunker along with an assortment of frozen baits for your needs.
The crabbing in the back is improving with our rental boats coming in with 2-3 dozen each and the people on the dock are leaving with a nice catch as well.

The great weather continues at the shore! Ocean beaches were the spot to be to beat the heat and get some fish for for dinner. The fluke fishing on the beach has dropped off a bit due to the drop in water temperature, but blow fish, and king fish are picking up the slack. There is still the shot of picking a keeper bass in the mix. Crabbing is on the rise in the bay along with blow fish, king fish, and spot....John Yac

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!! Our crabbing pier is finely 100% open for your crabbing and fishing pleasure. Remember its a township pier and NO beach badge or fee required! Fishing on the ocean front beaches remains the same. Short to keeper size bass and fluke are taking cut baits and artificial lures when present. Low tide seems to producing more keeper size fluke then any other tide stage. The lure of choice for fluke seems to be the buck tail gulp combo fished alone or with a small teaser above the jig. Crabbing in the bay is decent with the boats out catching the shore bound crabbers. Blow fish and some king fish still roam the BB and BI buoy areas in the bay along with short to keeper size fluke....John Yac
