Summer is still here and the fishing reports are becoming repetitive to say the least, but here goes. Small blues, fluke, kingfish and rays are all available on the daytime tides. Small sharks and rays lurk in the cover of darkness. A good snapper and crab bite is going on in the bay, with blowfish and small fluke being taken between the BB and BI buoys... John Yac

More of the same along the surf. Cocktail blues, fluke, and still some kingfish. The sharks on the night tides are on the smaller side along with the rays. Crabbing is starting to quit down from its feverish pace of the past several weeks. Snapper blues, blowfish, and spot are being taken now from the dock... John Yac

It's nice to see more fluke taken in the surf yesterday. Short to keeper size fluke were hot on the trail of gulp combos, bucktail/gulp or Hi-Lo rigged, both were getting attention from those tasty flatties. Cocktail blues remain plentiful and kingfish remain available. Crabbing remains good and snapper blues are starting to show off the dock... John Yac

The weather remains hot and so does the crabbing! This is shaping up to be a record year in our area, large catches of 5 plus inch crabs are being taken from our dock and rental boats alike. Check out our FB page for some impressive catches. As far as the surf goes, cocktail blues seem to be everywhere with kingfish and fluke also in the mix. Rays and small to medium size sharks lurk in the cover of darkness... John Yac

Great weather to say the least! The surf is still producing a abundance of cocktail blues and kingfish on all stages of the tide. Fluke fishing in the surf is a matter of keeping on the move, hitting all the good looking spots with either bucktail/gulp or live killie/squid combos. Remember you are allowed to keep (2) fluke at 16 inches in IBSP, all other locations are (3) fluke at 18 inches. Rays and sharks still roam the night tides putting some nice bends in anglers rods. Crabbing and blow fishing are off the charts in the back bay in all the usual spots... John Yac
