Fishing Report

Fishing in the surf has been steady for this time of year with the usual cast of players. King fish seem to have the leading role with small blues next in line, the rest of the cast are fluke and several species of sharks. Cut bait is your ticket to this production with small metals mixed in. The bay seems to be putting on it's own show with a slightly larger cast. Small weakfish, spot, blow fish, and small black drum along with snapper blues round off their cast. Again small cut baits and small metals will do the trick. The crabbing both from our dock and boats still remain a working game with patience and time spent paying some dividends. John Yac

The crabbing was a little slow on the dock today but the boats did ok. Kingfish along with some blues are being caught on the surf. Mario

Report 8-16

Plenty of small fish to occupy your time from the Dock. A mix of snapper blues, blowfish, kingfish, spot, small stripers and sea bass were all caught today by anglers from our Dock... On the ocean side spot and kingfish are still the hot bite with both species whacking clams and squid on high low rigs... Crabbing in the bay is still slow but we are hoping the cooler nights predicted for the next week or so will jumpstart the bite...John

Another great morning! Why not grab a rod and hit the beach! The great tasting table fair are there for the taking! No excuses now, you have to be in it to win it. John Yac

Fishing Report

The surf is giving up some nice keeper fluke right now so why not get in on the action. Buck tail teaser rigs seem to be doing the trick with gulp or fresh bait to add scent to the rig. King fish small blues and spot round off the mixed bag you will find in the surf. Crabbing right now remains slow but keepers are still being caught by those willing to spend some time. John Yac
