We now have blood worms! They are catching nice bass and flounder in the bay and river. Flounder rigs tipped with blood worm or clam for the flatties and a fish-finder rig, with a 2/0 bait holder hook, on a 18" to 24" leader, baited with 1 or 2 blood worms, is the way to go for these hungry spring bass... Fishing Report

More of the same, Ava's with teasers out front fished painfully slow right until it's high and dry! The only thing that has changed is feeding time for the fish has shifted from PM to AM. It was late afternoon into dusk and now it's just before first light to sun up. Clean surf with moderate NW winds today spells good conditions for the surf angler... John Yac
