Fishing Report

The bite of 18 to 26 inch bass continued yesterday. These fish remain on sand eels a bait that doesn't  move fast so once you locate the bait the fish will be in front of you for awhile. Needless to say the metal and teaser combo remains on fire, with all green and all black being the go to teaser colors. There is still a good body of fish to our north, so the bite in our area should go well into December... John Yac

Fishing Report

The bass were playing hide and seek yesterday with the few anglers trying to hook up with some fall run fish. Moving around was the ticket yesterday for hooking up. There were no real bird activity to tip off their location and the water was stained adding to the difficulty in locating fish. But when you happened to place your presentation in the right spot bingo! Hook ups were frequent on a bunch of short bass up to 26 inches. Stick to metals, Ava's, Deadly Dicks etc. and don't forget that teaser up front!... John Yac >>> We are still running blow out sales in the shop for your Christmas shopping needs. Fishing Report

There was some good action in the surf yesterday from Seaside Park right through IBSP. Small bass up to 26" made up the bulk of the action, but the occasional keeper was also mixed in. Metal with teasers out front took first prize in lure selection, while SP minnows also scored but was a distant second. Taking up the rear was rubber sand eel imitations fished on a jig or in the teaser position. The west winds in the forecast for today should make the surf comfortable to fish... John Yac

Fishing Report

We finely had a decent bite of bass yesterday in IBSP. Conditions were good, plenty of bait in close with birds working on them making it easy to spot the fish! There were those 24 to 26 inch fish as always, but fish up to 38 inches were also mixed in! Artificial lures led the way yesterday but the bait guys were also getting into some of the action. The weekend weather looks great and with all the bait around things should only improve. So get off that couch and head to the beach, the clock is ticking on the fall run in our area. While you are in the area, stop by the shop and take advantage of our great Black Friday Sales which will last till closing on Sunday... John Yac
