Fishing Report

The bay is still the place to be! Small bass at the bridges on small rubber jigs and small swimmers. Winter flounder remains the same no blitz but some nice size flounder on blood worms and clam strips for those willing to set up with chum on the west side of the bay. We always have fresh blood worms, clam chum logs, and our clams are FRESH in the shell along with salted pints. We are still running our spring spool up special for those who did not take advantage of the 20% off on all Power Pro and mono line in stock. We just got some Lamiglas surf blanks in yesterday and now is great time to have a custom rod made! In store specials on rods and tackle are also available...John Yac

The bay is producing nice catches of winter flounder to those willing to put in the effort. Mixed in the chum slick have been small bass with a few keepers mixed in. Blood worms or clams will do the trick. Small jigs and soft baits will put you into some bass action around the bridges...John Yac

Winter flounder season opens tomorrow March 23rd - May 21st with a (2) fish at 12" bag limit per angler. Here at the shop we have all you need. Fresh blood worms, clams, clam chum logs, chum pots and a large selection of flounder rigs for your fishing pleasure.
