Today only we will be running a fresh bunker special. 2 for $3. I fished the casino fishing pier yesterday afternoon and there was schools of bunker heading north all day long one after another. Most were well within snagging range. The wind is blowing NNW right now so maybe something good will happen today. Also we are still running the green crab special at $3 a dozen. Scott

We just had a nice 28incher weighed in by a first timer from Arizona. He caught the fish on a clam at area 7 on Ibsp. He was holding with 6oz.. Scott

The rain hasn't gotten here yet and the wind is blowing straight from the north. The surf isn't big yet either. So it seems the conditions are really good. Bass are being caught every day by the guys who are putting their time in. Bunker chunks and clams are getting it done. There was a giant school of bunker of the casino pier Friday night but there was no fish in them. The blackfish bite continues to be good on the north jetty. We have plenty of green crabs in stock. The bluefish should be here behind the dock any day now but only 1 has been caught that i have confirmed. Scott

Light winds... good tide... good time to hit the surf before the front comes... as for fish... black fish are still all over the inlet... bird activity on bunker schools in the Ortley Beach area... bunker spotted in the bay with possible small blues chasing...
