Fishing Report

The surf bite on cut bait yesterday in IBSP was on the up tic for sure. Several nice keeper bass were taken on cut bunker and a few anglers were reporting more then one keeper landed. Fluke fishing in the surf remains good from Lavallette thru IBSP. Bucktails tipped with gulp seem to be the bait of choice for these tasty flatties. The area called the sedges behind IBSP and a bit south of there are also producing nice size fluke. The bay behind us remains a pick of small blues with the occasional short bass and short fluke mixed in, and still no crabs to speak of... John Yac

Fishing Report

We are in the slow pick mode for sure! Both the surf and boat guys alike are experiencing fish here and there but nothing to talk about for sure. Blue fishing in the bay is a little better with small to medium blues taking cut baits and poppers from shore and also by boat. The crabbing in the bay is still almost non existent. This is one of the latest starting seasons for us that I can remember... John Yac

Fishing Report

The beach bite has slowed some what possibly due to the on and off southerly winds of the past few days, which drops the water temperatures and slows down the bite. The bay on the other hand has been producing some nice bluefish action the past couple of days. The bridge areas and just off our dock have been good spots to try by boat, while the dock itself is also seeing action with assorted size blues coming up on cut baits. Sand worms should be in today and we added some real nice frozen mullet to our frozen bait selection... John Yac

Fishing Report

The surf and bay bite remains the same! Bass, blues and now fluke are being taken by diligent anglers willing to put in the time regardless of the weather or the stage of the tide out front. Bait remains the number one choice of these hungry fish. While artificial lures, fished by dedicated plug casters are also cashing in on this spring bite. The boat guys both snag and drop and bunker spoon trollers have been finding a hit or miss bite lately... John Yac
