The few brave souls that ventured out yesterday in the surf were rewarded with some hot short bass action! Birds were diving like crazy, wales were feeding and short bass in the teen to 20 inch class were on the feed. Rubber sand eel imitations still lead the way but they are not the only way to hook up with these hungry fish. Thin ava style metals with teasers up front or just about any sand eel jig lure will work... John Yac
