Fishing Report

It's mild out, the rain will pass, and the winds will be blowing north west. Add to all that a gentleman's morning high tide, what more can a surf guy ask for, maybe a few more fish would be nice! There are fish around you just have to work a little harder to hook up. Both lures and bait alike are accounting for the elusive bass at present, as always it's a matter of being at the right place at the right time... John Yac >>> BLACK FRIDAY <<< is coming to the Dock Outfitters once again! We will be offering - RODS - REELS - LURES - WADERS at a discounted prices!!!

Fishing Report

First light, daytime, and last light are producing small to keeper size bass. Cut bunker and clams are the baits of choice. Swimmers, rubber shads, and poppers cover your artificial choices. Remember this time of the year things can change on a dime, schools of bait move in close with fish hot on their trail and just like that you are into some hot action. So  stay ready!... John Yac

Fishing Report

Well the surf guys got a taste of boat action yesterday! Thanks to the help of some local feeding whales, adult bunker were being pushed within casting range of the surf bound anglers. This action took place from Brick Beach to the north, to Ortley Beach to the south. Snag and drop in these bunker schools was the ticket for hooking up with these "big girls". Alan Kunze fishing up in Brick weighed the big fish of the day, a 45" - 34.9 lb. beauty, with Marty Andersen fishing on Ortley beach with a 38" - 20.5 lb fish. If the south winds forecasted for today don't shout down the fishing, we may see some more hot surf action... John Yac
