Reports of bluefish off the beaches from SSH-Lavalette yesterday afternoon… Plenty of mullet in the wash and with this mornings light NE wind things could be good today for surfcasting… Blowfishing in the bay remains outstanding with  salted clams and squid used for bait in conjunction with a heavy dose of clam chum…  Johnny “Docks”

It was a nice afternoon on the dock with a couple kingfish and a bunch of blowfish caught. Snappers were also hitting spearing for those fishing for them. Reports of nice sized blues were caught off the surf as well as a 29 inch striper on clams. The blues were caught on metal. Mario

Striped bass continue to show up along our beaches and are more than willing to take a well presented lure. Island Beach State Park has been the leader in this early bass action with a few fish taken from the Seaside Hights fishing pier. Still plenty of mullet in the surf with small blues and…

Fished near the inlet with my 2 boys earlier today after getting a tip from one of the old timers who frequent the shop.. We caught over 100 blowfish in a little over 2 hours, all on salted clam and chumlogs… Now is the time to fill your freezer with these tasty fish before they…

Ava’s and teasers! sound familiar? Looks like the fall run of striped bass is not so far off. Reports coming from Island beach state park of keeper bass being taken on ava’s brings  back memories of last years outstanding fall run. Mullet is still the predominant bait in the area. Small blue fish and fluke…

Another slow day for crabs off the dock but the blowfish and snappers kept the people fishing busy. Blues and fluke are still the best bet off the surf.   Mario

Fluke are still making a nice showing on the beaches as evidenced by the shop’s own Johhny Yac landing a 18″ fluke and James Blandino getting a limit on the kayak Sat morning… Blowfishing in the bay is still going strong and weakfish are plentiful… We have chum, pots amd clams for bait…Johnny Docks

Keeper fluke were caught from the Pier and the beaches yesterday evening… Plenty of  nice small blues around this morning hitting metals and mullet… Billy Rocco  landed a nice 32″ keeper bass off Casino pier while fishing a Black Label swimmer..John

Seemed a little slow on the dock but some nice fluke were brought in today from the surf . We have plenty of fresh mullet as well as everything else you need. Mario
