Well today is opening day trout season so that’s why there isn’t too many people fishing the surf. We have had some weigh ins and reports of bass being caught daily on clams off the beach. Bunker is spread around locally in the bay now also. The shop and cafe will be open from 7am-12pm…

One of our customers just returned from the beach and said he had bass in the Mantoloking area on clams including a 31″ keeper… He also reported bunker busting just out of range…John

Got report with pics from a local who ran out of Manasquan and found bait and bass from Bay Head-SSH… He had some knockdowns on the troll and caught fish drifting live and cut bunker off the beaches… Also got reports from one of the Belmar boats that had 30+ bass on their trip yesterday…John
