Bass and Blues in mixed sizes are still finding their way to the cleaning table out back. The surf bite continues with some keeper size fluke mixed in. Still pretty much a bait thing with cut bunker and clams the number 1 and 2 baits followed close behind by mullet squid and worms. Yes poppers, swimmers and metals due work at times, but when the fish are moving in and out the baits seem to draw them in. The back bay is still producing small to medium size blues caught on cut baits from shore or trolled and baited from our rental boats. The areas that are producing are the mouth of Tom’s River, the RT 37 bridge area and behind IBS. The crabbing is picking up daily from our dock… John Yac
