Not much to talk about today except for the outstanding weather we have been enjoying. Even though the bite along our beaches has come to a crawl, fishing along our beaches is still the place to be. With a keeper bass or a blue fish being taken here and there and the fluke size in the surf getting smaller. Great time to take advantage of the new fluke regulations in Island Beach State Park (2) fish at 16″ caught from the surf only and must be checked in at a weigh station about a mile south of the gate before you leave. Small blues still roam the areas behind IBS and love taking those small popping plugs. Crabbing is improving daily with more and more keepers going home with happy crabbers… John Yac
