Striped bass and blue fish in the ocean, with a nice pick of blow fish for those fishing for them. The catches seem to be mostly on bait partly due to the few fisherman throwing artificial lures. The bay right now is mostly blue fish in the 3 to 5 lb range on cut bunker fished right on the bottom. John Yac

Not many guys out yesterday but those who fished didn't have a bad day. Brian Voliva came in with his first bass of the season as well as a couple others. Clams and bunker are still the way to go on the surf and we have plenty of fresh clams and bunker with an assortment of frozen baits for your needs. The back seemed to produce some nice sized blues yesterday afternoon and into the evening. Blues were chasing small pods of bunker which produced a 9.7lb and 9.6 on the scale. The Zirilli family came in with an 8lb blue which was caught on cut bunker. Mario

We had a few bass hit the scale from the surf yesterday with Pete Fiori bringing in 2 which were caught on clams at IBSP. Clams and cut bunker seem to be doing the trick in the surf. We have fresh bunker and clams as well as an assortment of frozen baits to fill your needs. Mario

Striped bass, blue fish, fluke and blow fish are all available. Cut bait is still the way to go, but if artificial lures are your choice a well presented one fished with confidence will produce. As always we have a full line fresh and frozen bait for all your fishing needs. John Yac
