Bass and blue fish continue to take cut bait and clams in Island Beach State Park. Still not much action on swimming plugs yet but that will change soon as the water warms and the bunker schools come closer to the beach. The back bay is still producing small to medium size blue fish and some short bass, all the action seems to be coming on cut bunker fished right on the bottom no float. Fishing around the 37 bridge area and Oyster Creek are still the hot spots in the bay.  John Yac
