Cocktail blues showed up yesterday off our dock out back giving our anglers quite a nice surprise! Small fluke were also in the mix along with a few spot. Crabbing remains a job of weeding through a bunch of shorts to put a catch together.

Fluke continue to please surf anglers especially in IBSP where you may keep 2 fluke at 16″ per angler, everywhere else it’s 3 fluke at 18″. King fish and small blues are also available. Crabbing in the bay remains steady with fluke and blowfish being taken by boat anglers seeking them out.

The surf bite has slowed a bit. Fluke, bluefish, and king fish remain the main targets. Crabbing out back off the dock is good right now, with the rental boats also putting together some nice catches. Fluke and blue fishing in the bay is spotty at best right now.
