All the storms have moved east and it is beautiful here this morning with even a little cool breeze in the air... Winds are light out of the NW which should make for a great day on the bay, fishing, crabbing, or boating...John

Crabbing continues to be slow but the blowfish bite is still on. Kingfish snappers and spot are also being caught off the dock. Some larger blowfish are being caught near the bi and bb in the bay.
A couple Kingfish and fluke were brought in today from the rough surf.

Ray Linn and I ran my tinboat down to the BB buoy this morning... Started chumming and had fish right away. Caught 60-80 fish at least but no blowfish, mostly croakers, snapper blues, spots and sea bass... The last hour or so to our surprise produced 16+ weakfish to 18" all caught on clam strips... Get out this weekend and enjoy some bay fishing and a few nice fish dinners too...John

FRESH MULLET ARE IN!!!! Well the mullet run has officially started. Grab your throw nets and rods and head down to the beach. Now that our "local" summer has started it a great time to head back to the empty beaches. Then a variety of species to keep you busy out there. Cocktail blues, fluke, and kingfish still seem to be the dominant species out there but the bonita, albacore or other speedsters can show up at any time. Scott
