Another slow day with the crabs but again the fishing on the dock has been steady with blowfish and snappers.
Kingfish off the beach was very productive with a little cloud cover. A few nice fluke were brought in as well.

Crabbing again was slow today on the dock and in the boats. Blowfish, snappers, spot and a few kingfish kept people busy all day for those who were fishing.
Some nice keeper fluke were brought in again from the surf on buctkails and teasers. Kingfish again had a strong day on high / low rigs tipped with small pcs of clam.

The great variety of fishing in the bay continues with blowfish, kingfish, blues, weakfish and black drum all hitting clam baits fishied on hi-low rigs with 1-2 oz of weight... Crabbing remains on the slow side with boats averaging anywhere from 6-24 keepers per boat... The surf is also a variety of bluefish on mullet, fluke on gulp mullets and kingfish on clams...John

Yesterday's weather sure put a damper on things. The usual fish were there for the taking but the weather didn't cooperate. Today may be a rain gear day for those looking for a summer mix of blues, king fish, and fluke. John Yac

As we come to the close of summer the local beaches a still producing it's usual mixed bag of great table fare. Small blues seem to be dominating the action with a nice mix of king fish fluke and croakers. Fresh cut bait is always the ticket with small metal and gulp leading the artificial category. John Yac
