On my way to work this morning i was receiving text messages about bunker popping around in Ortley outside the bar. We should be getting in green crabs and more fresh bunker today. There is no wind at all right now and its beautiful outside. Scott

Just had one of our regulars Louie Burrito come back in to restock on bunker. He was fishing Ortley beach for the last 2 hours and landed a 7lb blue and a 30inch bass. The tide is still coming in and the wind is perfect. Scott

Well we just had some bluefish weighed in from the bay around oyster creek. The fish were about 5-6lbs and were taken on artificals. We weren’t able to get any green crabs today but we did just receive a shipment of fresh bunker. We also have plenty of fresh clams in stock. Scott

Lots of bass caught last night on the 5th ave dock and the other dock to the south last night. Plugs and bunker chunks got it done for chunky and george. The fish were to 33inch. Scott

Well today is opening day trout season so that’s why there isn’t too many people fishing the surf. We have had some weigh ins and reports of bass being caught daily on clams off the beach. Bunker is spread around locally in the bay now also. The shop and cafe will be open from 7am-12pm…
