Ortley beach was the hot spot for all the small blues you could want… They were hitting Metals, poppers, and mullet. Fished ranged in size from snapper blues to 2 lbers… Bass are also being caught during low light hours by fishermen throwing mambos and asst small plugs…John

Still nice sized blues and bass chasing peanut bunker in the Toms River. The bite continues to be right before dark. Small poppers and live peanuts are producing very well. Cocktail blues were the ticket today on the beach this afternoon.. Metal and fresh mullet was the way to go. Mario
