Just got in a load of fresh mullet… We had good reports from the few fishermen that did get out this morning… Jeff Vogt caught a 27″ bass on a plug this morning and a few others reported catching blues @ Kittywake and at IBSP!!! …John

Not many people on the dock today but a handful of blowfish were caught. There are nice sized blues in the river chasing peanut bunker and the bite still seems to be right before dark. Reports of some short bass caught on IBSP as well as some blues. Mario

Blue fish on mullet and some small bass on swimming plugs is the status of surf fishing right now. With the cooler air temperatures the water is cooling off nicely the fall bass run is just around the corner. Great time to stop by the shop and check out our great prices on  fall rod…

Bait bait and more bait that was this mornings surf condition. Blue fish and small bass are being picked on mullet, clams, and small artificial lures. As far as the bay goes small snapper blues and some blow fish are still being caught. John Yac.

Just in Fresh large Peanut Bunker!!! In addition we have fresh mullet, Bunker, clams and live eels in for the weekend. We will be open ALL NIGHT Saturday October 6th for those who want to hit the surf early for the Governor’s tournament on Sunday October 7th…. GOOD LUCK TO ALL PARTICIPANTS THIS WEEKEND!

Blowfish and a couple short stripers were caught off the dock today on clams. A few snappers were also taken. There are a lot of nice sized blues in the 3-4 pound range in the river chasing peanut bunker with some bass hanging with them. Small poppers and live peanuts caught with a cast net…

Fishing yesterday slowed down a bit depending on who you ask, but blue fish and small bass are still being taken. The slowing down of the fishing is probably due to the winding down of the mullet run. The run is not over by any means just fewer mullet available compared to the last few…

October 1st already? The summer is in our rear view mirror now and the the fall bass run is just around the corner. We still have blues in the surf and ever increasing reports of keeper bass being caught. The game remains the same, mullet fished on a mullet rig for the blues and clams…

The crabs decided not to show today on the dock but the blowfish and snappers did. There was a couple short bass also caught with clam. 1-3 pound blues were the deal again today from the surf. Fresh or frozen mullet and metals was the way to go. Mario
